Snap up a Royal Caribbean cruise bargain in its ‘One Big Sale’

Royal Caribbean is offering "Buy One Get One Half Price" cruise fares for 2018, plus 25 per cent off third and fourth guests on bookings made by 5 March in its One Big Sale.

The offer applies to sailings of six nights or more, on holidays departing 1 April to 31 December, with fares also including the All Inclusive Deluxe Beverage package for first and second guests on selected sailings to Europe, the Caribbean and on sailings from Southampton.

A free of charge Refreshment Beverage package is also available for third and fourth passengers on selected Caribbean holidays.

The offer even applies to sailings onboard Symphony of the Seas, which will become the world’s largest cruise ship when she sets sail in April 2018, featuring the most cutting-edge, customisable and digitally enhanced experiences in the entire Royal Caribbean fleet.

The ship will offer guests the ultimate family holiday, with exciting new family-friendly features including the Ultimate Family Suite, an epic glow-in-the-dark laser tag arena and Puzzle Break where teams will race against the clock to escape the submarine-themed room.

Symphony of the Seas also features speciality dining such as Royal Caribbean’s first New England-style seafood restaurant, Hooked, and El Loco Fresh, where guests can enjoy mouth-watering tacos and burritos.

Selected itineraries on Independence of the Seas are also featured in the promotion. Following a multi-million pound makeover, Independence will offer a bigger and better interactive Splashaway Bay, an Escape Room and a Laser Tag arena.

Dining additions include Izumi, the exotic Asian-inspired restaurant where guests can enjoy skilled hibachi chefs cooking tableside on Teppanyaki grills, and the new Fish & Ships restaurant that will offer quintessentially British seaside treats.

As an added New Year bonus, guests will benefit from free gratuities on eligible sailings from Southampton, including Independence of the Seas.

In a ground-breaking departure from previous years, Royal Caribbean is investing heavily in digital and video-on-demand advertising to ensure target audiences are reached more frequently with messaging relevant to them.

This is How to Holiday, devised by advertising agency Hometown, continues to showcase extraordinary moments and includes bold language to overcome the misconceptions around cruise and inspire the new-to-cruise audience.

The campaign will run across digital, social, video-on-demand and radio featuring voiceovers from Jenna Coleman in the UK and Amanda Byram in Ireland. 

There will also be a heavy digital and static outdoor presence across the UK and Ireland in high footfall areas including major train stations alongside strong support from trade partners in-store and online.
