Year 2014 - SeaDream Yacht Club’s summer cruises showcase Northern Europe

With its breathtaking beauty and rich history, Northern Europe continues to grow in popularity with cruisers, and SeaDream Yacht Club is expanding its destination offerings with experiences in the Baltic and Norwegian Fjords for the summer 2014 season.

And one of the highlights of the sees SeaDream Yacht Club operating its first ever cruise from the UK. The 14-night Baltic Capitals voyage departs on 16 August, sailing round-trip from Dover. SeaDream I heads for Lisbon, then Rome and on to Athens to join sister SeaDream II in the Mediterranean through to the end of the summer.

SeaDream I returns to the Baltic and Fjords for the first time since her inaugural visit in 2011, with a programme that starts with a 15-night transatlantic crossing from San Juan (26 April) to London’s Tower Bridge, arriving 10 May.

From the end of May, after a scheduled dry dock in Bremerhaven, she will operate five sailings in the Baltic followed by three sailings to the Norwegian Fjords.

The award-winning SeaDream I will explore the summer yachting ports of Northern Europe, including overnight stays in popular cities, with exclusive berthing privileges. Guests will enjoy docking up the Neva River by the Hermitage in St Petersburg, Stockholm’s historic Gamla Stan and anchoring steps from Tallin, Estonia’s “Old Town” in the inner pond.

SeaDream Yacht Club offers guests a perfect chance to experience the region in ultimate comfort and style from June through August 2014 on seven to 14-night voyages.

“In response to the popular demand from our past guests, SeaDream Yacht Club will bring its yachting lifestyle to Northern Europe in 2014,” says SeaDream’s UK managing director Andy Magowan. “Our size allows us to visit some of the region’s less travelled ports and become immersed in its rich culture in the care of the SeaDream I crew’s highly personalized and anticipatory service.”
