The Pride of Asia in 2011

The Yachts of Seabourn's all-suite Seabourn Pride will remain in Asia throughout 2011.

This means she will be offering new winter-season cruises including Bali, Singapore and Vietnam and hard-to-reach destinations such as the Karimunjawa islands, the Torajaland region on Sulawesi and Komodo Island.

Seabourn Pride will also make calls at three ports on the island of Borneo.

Seabourn Pride’s Asian deployment had been made possible by the expansion of the fleet, which will see the addition of three new 450-guest, all-suite vessels - Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest - by 2011.

Speaking in Sydney during the maiden visit of the new Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn president Pamela Conover said she believed the continued year-round deployment of Seabourn Pride in Asia in 2011 would appeal to Australians, as well as guests from North America and Europe.

Seabourn will also have a summer presence in the southern hemisphere with its world voyage program.

Following Seabourn Odyssey’s 2010 world cruise, Seabourn Sojourn will visit Australia in 2011 on a globe-circling journey from Los Angeles to London with calls to Fremantle, Hobart, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

In 2012, Seabourn Odyssey will also be sailing a South Pacific circle voyage called Stars of the Southern Cross with segments of 14 to 26 days available between Los Angeles, Auckland, and Sydney.
