Swan Hellenic launches Price Promise to coincide with updated 2013/14 brochure

Swan Hellenic has introduced a "Price Promise" on new bookings, guaranteeing customers that if the price of published standard fares for their chosen cruise and category of cabin is reduced at a later date, passengers will be offered an equivalent benefit in value.

The difference in the benefit provided will either be as a complimentary cabin upgrade or on board credit.

Passengers can now make an early booking Minerva without fear of missing out on reduced prices

The move sees Swan Hellenic fall in line with the general trend towards price promising in the cruise industry.

Coinciding with the launch of the winter 2013/2014, second edition brochure, Swan’s Price Promise encourages passengers to book early, therefore ensuring passengers can obtain the best choice of cabin on their preferred cruise.

In addition, Swan Hellenic is offering passengers a 10% discount on selected cruises as well as a free chauffeur service on selected cabin grades and up to £200 on board credit per cabin.  Offers are applicable on selected cruises only.

Says Colin Stone, managing director at Swan Hellenic: “This is a new era for Swan Hellenic and since Minerva returned to service in March of this year after a multi-million pound refit, significant interest and demand have been forthcoming which has been extremely pleasing and encouraging to see. As we approach our Diamond Anniversary in 2014, we want to ensure that we maintain our reputation with excellent service and facilities which passengers consider to be exceptional value for money”.

The published programme of cruises through to April 2014 will visit more than 200 ports across five continents including new ports of call - Havana, Santiago de Cuba and Casilda in Cuba, Cartagena in Colombia and the San Blas Islands.

Highlights of the new 2013 brochure

To Sri Lankan Shores, departing 13 February - this 15 day cruise offers a taste of the east, with the chance to experience the dynamic city of Kuala Lumpur, and enjoy three calls in Sri Lanka.  Twin occupancy prices start from £1,950 per person.

Above the Arctic Circle, departing 4 July – Cruise to remote Spitsbergen, with its exceptional Arctic scenery of mountains, glaciers, magnificent fjords and remote communities. Twin occupancy prices start from £2,995 per person for this 21-day cruise.

Rhythms of Cuba and the Caribbean, departing 4 December- spend two days exploring Havana, a full day in Santiago de Cuba and a morning call in Casilda. Twin occupancy prices start from £1,950 per person for this 16-day cruise.

Spirit of Brazil, departing 21 February 2014 - the 23-day cruise from Buenos Aires in Argentina to Manaus, in the Amazon, celebrates the rhythms of carnival in Salvador, and explores the Amazon river up to Manaus. Twin occupancy prices start from £3,350 per person for the 23-day cruise.
