Star Clippers highlights 2011 Mediterranean, transatlantic cruises

Star Clippers' 2011 Mediterranean season features ten maiden ports and takes Royal Clipper, Star Clipper and Star Flyer to Greece and Turkey as well as the Western Mediterranean.

Star Flyer returns to the Med with new seven-night itineraries between Athens and Istanbul. And as well as continuing round-trip Monte Carlo cruises along the French and Italian rivieras, she will also sail seven-night itineraries between Valletta in Malta, Monte Carlo and Athens.

Royal Clipper, pictured,  sails the Western Mediterranean with seven, ten and 11-night itineraries. The seven-night cruises sail round-trip Civitavecchia (Rome) and highlight Italy. The ten and 11-night journeys between Civitavecchia and Venice visit Italy, Sicily, Montenegro, Greece and Croatia.

Star Clipperwill sail seven-night Greek Isles and Turkey cruises round-trip from Athens. In July, the ship will sail two ten and 11-night cruises between Venice and Athens to ports throughout Greece and Croatia, including a call in Montenegro.

Guests looking for a longer cruise vacation can embark on a “Grand Mediterranean Voyage” from 12 to 21 days.

The extended itineraries aboard all three ships offer a more in-depth exploration of the Eastern and Western Mediterranean and Northern Africa.

Star Clippers also offers five ocean crossings in 2011 ranging from 16 to 35 nights. The transtlantic journeys in April and October reposition the ships between Costa Rica, the Caribbean and Mediterranean.
