SeaDream offers exclusive voyages to sought-after destinations in 2014

SeaDream Yacht Club is offering exclusive voyages to some of the world’s most sought-after destination and inaugural visits Southeast Asia, Papua New Guinea and Northern Europe in its 2014 season.

Also featured in SeaDream’s 2014 season are the secluded ports and harbours of the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. Altogether, SeaDream I and SeaDream II will sail a total of 64 itineraries in the waters surrounding these beautiful locations.

“The 2014 season promises to be one of SeaDream’s most expansive, touching on four continents. We’ll cover the waters of sophisticated Mediterranean locales, such as Costa Smeralda on Italy’s Sardinian coast. We’ll also offer adventurous itineraries and land expeditions in the hidden beauty of Papua New Guinea and the islands of Southeast Asia for the first time ever,” says SeaDream president, Bob Lepisto.

Southeast Asia and Papua New Guinea

Southeast Asia conjures up exotic dreams of culture, language and cuisineI. Departing Singapore on January 4,  SeaDream II will embark on 12 specially crafted itineraries offering you the chance to explore destinations like Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Northern Australia, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand.

You can experience the peace and tranquility of undiscovered beaches on Ko Lanta Yai, the buzzing commercial centres of Mumbai, and the striking traditions of sea gypsies in the Andaman Sea. The Southeast Asian voyages of SeaDream’s 2014 season encompass the best of luxury and adventure travel, with expeditions led by anthropologists and cultural experts in places like the Trobriand Islands.

Northern Europe

SeaDream will expand its destination offerings with experiences in the Baltic for the summer 2014 season. Destinations visited will include Bergen, Bornholm, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Helsinki, London, Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Stockholm, Oslo and the majestic Norwegian Fjords.

SeaDream I will explore summer yachting ports, including overnight stays in popular cities with exclusive berthing privileges afforded only to a mega-yacht. Guests will enjoy docking up the Neva River by the Hermitage in St Petersburg, Stockholm’s historic Gamla Stan and anchoring steps from Tallin, Estonia’s “Old Town” in the inner pond. SeaDream Yacht Club offers a perfect chance to experience the region from June to August on seven to 14-night voyages.

An exciting highlight of the summer 2014 Northern Europe season sees SeaDream Yacht Club operating its FIRST-EVER cruise from the UK, a 14-night Baltic Capitals voyage departing on 16th August sailing round-trip from Dover, with lead-in early booking fares starting from £5,468pp including Govt fees, handling and port tax.

The Mediterranean/Adriatic/Aegean/Black Sea

SeaDream will visit some of the most colourful and contrasting ports of Southern Europe when it yachts the waters of the Amalfi Coast, the Aegean and Greek Islands, the Balearic Islands, Costa Smeralda, the Crimean and Croatian Coasts, the Danube Delta, the French and Italian Rivieras, Monaco, and Turkey’s Turquoise Coast.

Water toys add a fun dimension to a SeaDream cruise

You can explore these locales on single itineraries, or link voyages together and save 10 per cent on the second itinerary, with voyages ranging from four to 11 nights. Guests aboard the intimate SeaDream II will enjoy the sights of exclusive harbours like Porto Cervo, where larger ships cannot go. You can also indulge in special land adventures such as walking the Napoleon Trail in Elba, or discover shore side attractions on their own using the yacht’s mountain bikes to trek the hillsides of villages like Bonifacio on the French island of Corsica.

The Caribbean

SeaDream I will not only sail Caribbean islands favoured by travellers, but will also offer first hand luxury yachting experiences in secluded ports, such as Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. Other Caribbean destinations include St. Barts, Barbados, the French West Indies, the Grenadines, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

Itineraries in the Caribbean will emphasize relaxation and rejuvenation. Yopu can take advantage of the SeaDream Spa, with the highest therapist-to-guest ratio at sea. You can splash in the surf with a bevy of water toys, including stand-up paddleboards and wave runners, available each day in the yacht’s marina. Yopu can also partake in the revelry of special beachside culinary experiences like the signature Champagne and Caviar Splash™, in which bubbles and caviar are served in silver aboard a white linen-sheathed surfboard.
