Scenic now on board as Titan’s 2018 Luxury River Cruise Collection features 5 top cruise operators

Showcasing the most luxurious selection of worldwide river cruises for 2018, Titan's first, dedicated luxury river cruise programme features five river cruise operators, among them being Scenic for the very first time.

In addition to the brand new partnership with Scenic, renowned for offering a contemporary yet luxurious cruise experience, Titan has maintained its association with Uniworld on a selection of rivers and has expanded the number of river cruises offered with AmaWaterways.

MS Volga Dream
The MS Volga Dream cruises between Moscow and St Petersburg

The Spirit of Chartwell, also known as the Royal Barge from the Diamond Jubilee Thames Pageant, is exclusively chartered by Titan to sail on the River Douro, while the MS Volga Dream cruises between Moscow and St Petersburg.

The programme offers a choice of destinations with 12 rivers featured including many of Europe’s most famous waterways from the Garonne, Dordogne, Gironde, Rhone and Saone in France to Germany’s Rhine, Moselle and Main rivers.

The breathtaking Danube and Russia’s Volga and Neva rivers also feature, while further afield the mighty Ganges provides an alternative way to explore northern India and the Mekong offers cruises in Vietnam and Cambodia.

The Scenic fleet of Space-Ships offers truly all-inclusive luxury and the most spacious suites of any European vessel. Each suite features a sun lounge that transforms the balcony, with a butler service for all guests, and a staff to guest ratio of 1:3.
As the perfect introduction to a Scenic cruise, the 8-day Gems of the Danube itinerary explores beautiful medieval towns, opulent Viennese palaces, and offers an excursion to the city of Salzburg. From £1,949 per person based on 4 October departure. Click here for full details

Titan has had a long association with Uniworld and its choice of elegant floating boutique hotels. For this programme it has chosen cruises in France, Venice and India and one of the biggest savings, with discounts of up to £500 per person, can found on the 14-day India’s Golden Triangle and the Sacred Ganges. Starting the adventure with a land based tour of Delhi, the Taj Mahal at Agra and the palaces and old bazaars of Jaipur, passengers then embark on a 7-night luxury cruise along the Ganges River. From £7,799. Click here for full details

Titan first featured AmaWaterways in 2017 and has developed the range of river cruises aboard its custom-designed ships for this new 2018 brochure. Highlights include Ama’s 18-day Charms of the Mekong river cruise, the first-time Titan has featured a Mekong cruise with Ama. Sailing on board the AmaDara, the cruise offers the chance to explore this mighty river with visits to Ho Chi Minh City, Cambodia’s Prek Kdam and Siem Reap, with the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park. The itinerary concludes with an exclusive overnight cruise along Halong Bay on a beautiful, deluxe junk. From £4,749 per person based on 26 October departure. Click here for full details

MS Volga Dream

MS Volga Dream offers the finest accommodation, food, and service on the Russian waterways. With a crew of 60 and a maximum of 100 passengers, the ship has the feel of sailing aboard a private yacht. Combining six nights in hotels with a six-night cruise, the 13-day Imperial Treasures of Russia itinerary offers the chance to stay in Russia’s greatest cities, Moscow and St Petersburg, with the cruise linking the two cities. Excursions include city tours, a visit to the Kremlin and Armoury Museum, the Hermitage Museum and Peterhof Palace. While on board, highlights include a traditional Russian tea ceremony, cookery class and piano concert featuring the works of Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov. From £3,499 per person with departures in May, August and September. Click here for full details

Spirit of Chartwell

Chartered exclusively by Titan, the Spirit of Chartwell sails on the Douro in northern Portugal. The Queen chose the Spirit of Chartwell to lead the 2012 Diamond Jubilee pageant and this state-of-the-art river ship makes the perfect base from which to enjoy the Douro valley, lined with terraced vineyards and postcard-perfect hillside villages. Titan’s 10-day A Celebration of Lisbon and the Douro itinerary sails between the coastal city of Porto and the Spanish border, enjoying visits to beautiful towns, monasteries and palaces along the way, plus two nights in Lisbon. From £2,999 per person based on 2 May departure. Click here for full details

Titan’s 2018 programme also features seven brand new itineraries, including the exclusively chartered Wild France with Camargue CroisiEurope small barge cruise.

Sailing the Rhône à Sète canal to Arles, this seven-day itinerary offers a delightfully different way to experience France’s popular south coast.

From the wilderness of the Camargue to the extraordinarily red salt marshes that lie before the old town walls of Aigues-Mortes, this cruise offers the chance to try local delicacies, including fresh shellfish and farm produce, and delve into scenes of French history with time in Séte and Arles, famed by Van Gogh’s masterpieces. From £2,249 per person based on 22 June or 3 August 2018 departure, including flights.
Also new from CroisiEurope is the 6-day Beautiful Veneto cruise combining art, history and tradition. This cruise epitomises all that is Italian, with magnificent ancient architecture, celebrated frescos, beautiful Venetian glass, and tales of romance.

Beginning and ending with nights docked in Venice itself, between these days the MS Michelangelo cruises along the Po with excursions to see the immortalised balcony of Verona’s House of Juliet, and visit towns whose beautiful medieval streets are even more enjoyable away from the weekend tourist. From £1,399 per person based on 30 July, 9 August or 19 August departure, including scheduled British Airways direct flights.
