Ponant features two new ships and 11 new itineraries across the world for summer 2019

From yacht cruising to expedition cruising, Japan to the icy realms of the Arctic, Ponant is offering one hundred departures aboard its fleet of nine vessels for Summer 2019.

During this new season, Ponant will cruise across the Seven Seas to discover exceptional landscapes, sailing to several continents and hundreds of different countries with 11 brand-new itineraries to the heart of fascinating regions including the Great Lakes of North America, the tribes of Central America, the unspoiled Bissagos Islands, the virgin territories of Greenland, and much more.

New ship Le Champlain will be cruising between Quebec City and Milwaukee

Featuring for the first time will be new Explorer ships Le Bougainville and Le Dumont-d’Urville, for a maiden season that will be spent cruising the Baltic and the Mediterranean. The ships will have just 92 staterooms and suites attended to by a crew of 110.

Greenland of great explorers
Discover the east coast of Greenland and its still-virgin lands, where the first French explorers once walked. L’Austral will take its passengers to meet the Inuit people, witnessing fjords, glaciers, sheer cliffs and polar ice fields.
