OperaBabes sing for their supper again on summer Boudicca cruise
Classical music duo the OperaBabes will be hitting the high 'sea' notes this summer when they set sail on Boudicca’s 14-night Scandinavia and St Petersburg cruise.
It will be their third appearance with Fred. Olsen, and guests can look forward to their rendering of Puccini’s aria ‘O mio babbino caro’, made famous by Maria Callas, along with other favourites.

As part of the Classical Music theme, music expert Peter Hudson will be speaking about the tragic star Callas, renowned as the finest opera singer of the 20th Century.
The OperaBabes – Rebecca Knight, soprano, and Karen England, mezzo soprano – will join the cruise in Copenhagen on 11 August, and will no doubt perform to packed audiences. The cruise starts in Liverpool on 31 July.
In 2011, The OperaBabes were awarded Best Live Performance in the inaugural ‘Cruise International Awards’ for their appearance on Fred. Olsen’s Black Watch Mediterranean cruise in October 2010.
The glamorous duo were discovered by a talent scout when they were busking in Covent Garden. They have performed for the Queen on several occasions, and have sung with many of the world’s leading orchestras.
