Now Costa Fascinosa is given the big ‘C’

Less than a month before the delivery of Costa Cruises' new flagship Costa Favolosa, sister Costa Fascinosa has passed a major construction milestone.

The 114,500-ton Costa Fascinosa will be the 16th member of the Costa fleet and is scheduled for delivery in spring 2012.

Her funnel was recently installed in Fincantieri’s Marghera yard - the same distinctive yellow funnel with the blue “C” that has graced 36 vessels in the Costa fleet since the brand was launched in the Forties.

Costa Fascinosa is the sister ship of the Costa Favolosa, the new flagship of Costa’s fleet, which will be delivered from the Marghera yards on June 30 and named in Trieste on July 2.
