It’s a record as Silversea Cruises adds more UK voyages in 2012

The increasing demand for cruises sailing out of the UK has prompted Silversea Cruises to boost its offering for 2012.

It has expanded the number of cruises on offer to 20, either embarking or disembarking from UK ports, making it the largest Silversea UK programme to date.

Silver Spirit, Silver Whisper, Silver Cloud and Silver Explorer will dock at Southampton, Portsmouth, Greenock and London (Tower Bridge) allowing guests to depart from more UK ports to the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, New York and more.

Says Trudy Redfern, UK and Ireland Managing Director: “Silversea is pleased to offer its largest UK programme to date. With four out of six all suite ships either embarking or disembarking UK ports during 2011/2012, we invite you to relax completely and allow us to transport you hassle-free as the luxurious possibilities of Silversea are offered at your convenience.”

Sample 2011 itineraries

Southampton to Barcelona (Spain) - from only £397 per day
A seven-day Mediterranean voyage from £2,778 per person, on an all-inclusive basis with $1,000 onboard spending credit per suite. Departing May 19 from Southampton, Silver Spirit calls at La Coruna, Vigo, Lisbon and Alicante before arriving at Barcelona.

Southampton to Copenhagen (Denmark) - from only £337 per day
A 10-day Northern European voyage from £3,373 per person, on an all-inclusive basis with $1,000 onboard spending credit per suite. Departing July 20 from Southampton, Silver Cloud calls at Plymouth, St Helier, Rouen, Honfleur, Oostende and Antwerp before arriving at Copenhagen.

Sample 2012 itineraries

Monte Carlo to Southampton - from only £359 per day A 12-day Medittaranean voyage from £4,303 per person, on an all-inclusive basis with $1,000 onboard spending credit per suite. Departing May 1 from Monte Carlo, Silver Whisper calls at Palma De Mallorca, Cadiz, Portimao, La Coruna, Bilbao, Bordeaux and Le Verdon before arriving at Southampton.

Stockholm (Sweden) to Southampton – from only £437 per day A 10-day Northern European voyage from £4,373 per person, on an all-inclusive basis with $1,000 onboard spending credit per suite. Departing July 16 from Stockholm, Silver Whisper calls at Tallinn, St Petersburg for a two night stay onboard, Helsinki and Warnemunde before arriving at Southampton.

  All prices are per person, based on two people sharing a Vista Suite and include one-way complimentary economy class air, port charges, government fees and taxes.
