Holland America reveals Early Advantage savings for 2013

For guests who book well in advance of departure, Holland America Line is offering Early Advantage savings on a wide selection of 2013 cruises and CruiseTours.

Offers include free upgrades on select sailings, as well as savings of up to 50 per cent by combining two cruise itineraries on select Collectors’ Voyages in Europe.

Also on some sailings, free and reduced cruise fares are available for third or fourth guests who share the same stateroom.

Says executive vice president Richard Meadows: “By planning ahead, our guests can take advantage of significant savings and ensure they are able to take their dream vacation. Whether it’s upgrading to a verandah stateroom or deciding to enjoy a longer cruise vacation, these savings show the value of booking in advance.”

With savings of up to 50 per cent off per person, the Early Advantage promotion makes it possible for guests to take a longer Collectors’ Voyage in Europe at an even more affordable rate.

These longer cruises combine back-to-back itineraries, enabling guests to visit more ports and spend extra time exploring the history, culture and beauty of the region.

With Early Advantage savings, guests can book a 14-day Collectors’ Voyage with fares starting as low as $1,799 per person, double occupancy, for an inside stateroom, and receive a free upgrade to an ocean-view while staterooms are available.

Free upgrades and free or reduced third and fourth guest Early Advantage savings are available on an extensive selection of the line’s cruises to more than 415 ports of call in destinations around the world: Alaska, Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Canada/New England, Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, Panama Canal and South America/Antarctica.

Says Lynn Narraway, UK managing director, said: “By booking early, clients can already plan ahead and receive the accommodation of their choice, however now with Holland America Line, on selected sailings they can benefit from ‘early advantage’ special reduced fares, free upgrades and a new flexible deposit policy.”

For example a 7-night Norse Legends departing 4 May 2013 from Dover onboard ms Ryndam now leads in at £699pp and includes a free upgrade from inside to ocean view accommodation. A 10-night Panama Canal Sunfarer cruise departing from Fort Lauderdale onboard ms Zuiderdam on 15 February 2013 leads in at £1,049pp cruise only for an inside stateroom and £1,249pp for ocean view with free upgrade from ocean view to verandah stateroom.
Holland America Line guests booking 2013 cruises will now pay a lower 15 per cent deposit rather than the previous fixed amount. Guests who book early on selected cruises can also be assured by a new flexible deposit policy, which allows them to make changes to their cruise booking at no charge up until 90 days prior to sailing or final payment date, whichever is first.
