Fred Olsen “No fuel surcharge guarantee” extended

Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has announced that its ‘No Fuel Surcharge Guarantee’, introduced last year, has been extended to cover all bookings made up to and including February 14, 2012.

The extension of the guarantee provides reassurance to those booking that they will not have to face any additional fuel-related costs to their cruise, providing they make the commitment by the end of this year.

Lol Nichols, Fred Olsen’s general sales manager, said: “This is great news, both for our guests and for agents, as they can use this positive initiative as a powerful sales tool; the concerns about extra costs being imposed after booking can prove a barrier to people committing their money, especially in these difficult times.

“Now our cruises can be booked with absolute confidence that the price you pay at the time of booking for 2012/13 is the whole price.”
