Exclusive preview of the see-all glass shower on Celebrity Reflection

Now we've seen it all, so to speak. Celebrity Cruises has released an exclusive preview of the all-glass signature shower on Celebrity Reflection which takes freshening up to a new level.

Designed by renowned New York-based BG Studio Internationa, the shower features within the Reflection Suite on Celebrity Cruises’ newest ship, Celebrity Reflection.

The first of its kind at sea, the suite’s all-glass shower extends out over the edge of the ship, offering guests a truly unique showering experience.

Revealed: the see-all shower on Celebrity Reflection

The 1,636 sq-ft Reflection Suite with 194 sq-ft veranda will be Celebrity Cruises’ first two-bedroom suite, complete with its distinctive sea-view bathroom with soothing rain shower, and the host of amenities associated with all of Celebrity Cruise’s luxury suites, including the brand’s 24 hour European butler service.

Celebrity vice president Lisa Lutoff-Perlo explained how guests’ privacy will be preserved while using the unique glass shower.

“We made a big investment in ensuring that our guests can enjoy the shower entirely free of any concerns of being seen. They can enjoy breathtaking sea views while discreetly showering, courtesy of the shower’s special reflective glass.

“But, if they seek even further privacy, the shower also features ‘smart glass.’ At the flick of a switch, guests can activate an electrochromatic technology which instantly transforms the glass from transparent to translucent.

“We even went so far as to install a special sensor, so if guests prefer, the glass can be automatically transformed for them.”

The new Reflection Suite on Celebrity Reflection

Situated in the highly desirable corner location of the ship’s 14th deck, the Reflection Suite is adjacent to the five new “Signature Suites” which each accommodates up to four guests and offers a 441 sq-ft stateroom area and 118 sq-ft veranda, with floor-to-ceiling windows and veranda doors, all designed to maximize the stunning views of the sea.

The Reflection Suite and Signature Suites are housed in a private area, accessible by cardkey. All six suites can be booked exclusively so that a group of up to 26 guests can enjoy a completely private, modern luxury holiday experience.

Celebrity Reflection enter service on 12 October 2012, on a nine-night European cruise from Amsterdam to Barcelona.
