The drinks are on Fred Olsen Cruise Lines as it launches all-inclusive fly-cruises for 2013
Fred Olsen Cruise Lines is to "try out" all inclusive cruising on four Braemar Canaries fly-cruises being introduved for the first time next year.
It means guests will escape facing “unpleasant” additional charges for onboard drinks during their cruises.
All-inclusive will be introduced on four Braemar cruises in 2013
Nathan Philpott, Olsen’s sales and marketing director, said at the launch of the 2013-14 worldwide programme last night: “No-one likes receiving unpleasant bills at the end of their cruise and so we are trying all-inclusive for the first time on four cruises to see how it goes. We are the first of the mainstream cruise lines to do this.”
Guests are still responsible for gratuities and any additional spending while on board the ship, such as treatments and purchases from the shops.
Philpott added: “We know many of our guests are on a tight budget in these difficult times, and we are delighted that we csan offer this very generous inclusive prices for four of our exciting new fly-cruise itineraries.
“With this added drinks package, these cruises offer exceptional value for money and it will be easier for them to budget and allow more leeway for spending on other holiday extras, such as shore excursions.”
