Cruise queen Jane McDonald gives AmaWaterways a major Mekong boost

AmaWaterways has experienced unprecedented demand for voyages on the Mekong in the wake of featuring on the ‘Cruising with Jane McDonald’ series in February.

The one-hour show followed the singer-celebrity as she cruised from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to Prek Kdam in Cambodia.

The company received a record number of phone calls, brochure requests and bookings in the first weekend following the screening, and there has been no let up since.

Says sales director Jamie Loizou: “We knew there would be huge interest in the programme. It has been instrumental in bringing new consumers into the river cruise market.”=
