Pioneer swimmer and ocean advocate Lewis Pugh will be joining two Hurtigruten voyages in 2016 – a voyage along the Norwegian coast in May and a trip to Antarctica in December 2016. The Briton, was appointed the UN Patron of the Oceans in 2013, has been named has named him a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum for his “potential to contribute to shaping the future of the world through inspiring leadership”. Carnival Magic makeover adds new dining options
image The 130,000-ton Carnival Magic is currently undergoing an extensive multi-million-dollar makeover to add a variety of fresh dining and bar options,  including Guy’s Burger Joint, RedFrog Rum Bar, BlueIguana Tequila Bar, Pizzeria del Capitano and the Alchemy Bar. Currently sailing from Galveston, Texas, Carnival Magic will reposition to Port Canaveral in April to begin year-round Caribbean departures from that port. The two-week dry dock will bve comp[leted by 6 March. www.carnival.com.
