Celebrity Summit to sail into 2012 with Solstice-Class goodies

Celebrity Summit is set to become the third ship in Celebrity Cruises’ Millennium Class fleet to complete a significant “Solsticizing” in January 2012.

“Solsticizing” is the term the line coined for its initiative to complement its Milllennium Class ships’ style and design with some of the most popular venues on the widely heralded Solstice- Class ships.

“Based on the phenomenal response we’ve had from our guests who have sailed on the ‘Solsticized’ Celebrity Constellation, we’re eager to introduce the same new features and many more on Celebrity Summit,” said Celebrity Cruises’ president Dan Hanrahan.

“We recognise that consumers’ holiday time is precious, which inspires us to do everything we can to make their holiday with Celebrity Cruises something that is truly different and better than anything they’ve experienced before.”

Among the new additions to Celebrity Summit, pictured, will be AquaClass, Celebrity Cruises’ soothing, spa-inspired veranda-category accommodations, paired with the Mediterranean-themed specialty restaurant, Blu, offered exclusively for AquaClass guests.

Another Celebrity exclusive – Qsine, the novel restaurant introduced on Celebrity Eclipse last year, and set to debut on Celebrity Infinity following the ship’s revitalisation in December 2011 – will also be presented on Celebrity Summit.

More suites with new furniture, flat-screen TVs, upholstery, bedding and carpeting and 24/7 butler service

Restyled staterooms, with new carpeting, flat-screen TVs, upholstery and bedding
