Enjoy new AzAmazing evenings with Azamara Club Cruises in Europe in 2013

As part of Azamara Club Cruises’ 2013 European season, beginning 27 March and 15 May, newly refurbished Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest will be launching AzAmazing Evenings - exclusive, custom-designed events which will immerse guests in the cultures that intrigue them.

The inclusive night touring experiences are bespoke and authentic to the destinations in which they take place.

Azamara Club Cruises’ upcoming European season also marks the inclusion of boutique wines, international beers and select standard spirits in the ships restaurants, bars and lounges when open.

Travellers eager to experience Europe can also take advantage of up to $2,000 credit per stateroom against the voyage fare when booking flights through the cruise line’s ChoiceAir feature.
“Travellers should not miss out on Azamara’s 2013 European season, where guests will be the first to enjoy our unique AzAmazing Evenings and even more onboard inclusives,” said Edie Bornstein, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Azamara Club Cruises.

“The sailings on our ships will also coincide with some of the continent’s most exciting special events and our longer stays and more overnights in port will provide guests the opportunity to not only see, but join in the celebrations.”

Azamara Club Cruises’ twin ships will sail European waters until November, calling at familiar favourites such as Monte Carlo, Ibiza and Santorini, as well as some of the more hidden gems such as Sochi, Russia, host to the 2014-Winter Olympics; Cassis, France; and Propriano and Palamos, Spain.

For an even more culturally-rich experience, guests can combine two, three or more consecutive sailings that repeat almost no ports and multiply their choices of AzAmazing Evenings and destination immersion.

Throughout the season, guests may also pair their holiday with a sailing that coincides with some of the region’s top cultural events including Holy Week in Seville on 27 March, the Monaco Grand Prix on 23 May or the Open Golf Championship on 14 July.

For example, Azamara Quest’s seven-night, Seville April Fair sailing, includes an opportunity for guests to experience Seville’s annual spring celebration, including a spectacular midnight fireworks show. The ship, which sails to many destinations that larger ships cannot get to, docks in the heart of the city, just a short walk from all the festivities.

Two exclusive sailings are hosted by Azamara Club Cruises’ President and CEO Larry Pimentel and his wife Sandi, featuring parties and activities with the Pimentels. The first of these President’s Voyages aboard Azamara Quest departs 3 April, on the Spring Time Along the Cote d’Azur voyage. Guests will enjoy an incredible evening watching the ancient and colourful sport of water jousting at Sete Joute while partaking in fine local cuisine.

The second President’s Voyage takes place 1 October, onboard Azamara Journey during its Tuscany, Monte-Carlo and the French Rivera voyage. Here guests will be treated to an unforgettable operatic performance while dining at a medieval castle in the Tuscan countryside.
