11 Princess Cruises ships sailing in the Americas in 2017-2018

Eleven Princess Cruises ships will set sail across the Americas in 2017 and 2018 to destinations including the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, California coast and the Panama Canal. A new roundtrip voyage to Alaska from Los Angeles will also launch.

Altogether there will be 230 cruises to more than 70 destinations, ranging from 3-28 days.

New in 2017 is a 14-day Circle Caribbean voyage. Ports of call include Martinique, Barbados, Trinidad, Aruba, Curacao, Antigua, St Maarten, St Kitts and a stop at Princess Cruises’ private resort, Princess Cays. Guests will sail on the 3,080-guest Caribbean Princess.

Select itineraries in the Caribbean – including Aruba, Curacao, St. Thomas and Cozumel – will offer late evening stays as part of the recently introduced “More Ashore” programme. Ships will berth for longer in certain ports, meaning guests can enjoy them at night as well as in the day.

Caribbean Princess sails her maiden Panama Canal season in 2017 with 10-night voyages, while the smaller Coral Princess and Island Princess return to transit the traditional locks.

In 2018, Emerald Princess will debut a Princess first, sailing an Alaska Inside Passage voyage to destinations including Skagway and Ketchikan, departing roundtrip from Los Angeles. Previously all cruises to Alaska would leave from San Francisco, Anchorage, Seattle or Vancouver.
