€90m refurbishment breathes a whole new life into Costa Romantica

Costa NeoRomantica was launched in 1993 as Costa Romantica but in late 2011 underwent a life-changing €90m refurbishment towards the end of November 2011 from which she emerged three months later with her new name.

Her public rooms are decorated with rare woods, Carrara marble, and millions of dollars in original works of art. There is also a full luxury Samsara Spa.

Her decks are named for well-known European cities: Monte Carlo, Madrid, Vienna, Verona, Paris, London, Copenhagen and Amsterdam.

The Costa NeoRomantica rebuild saw the addition of wo new half decks that increased the gross tonnage of the ship from 53,000 to 56,000 tons.
